WHAT'S SOME COMMON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM?:

He is a werewolf. Recent-ish-ly turned as of like... nine months ago. He was turned one night when he was researching Rougarou.

He fucked off immediately after Hogwarts to tour America. When he was nineteen, he discovered the Mothmen of Appalachia and wrote (what would turn out to be) a best selling book about them.

His childhood was nomadic. They were world travelers from BORTH.

As a prefect, he was extremely lenient. As long as kids weren’t hurting others (without their consent), they got away with so much shit and Lorcan would help them skirt the law. Sneaking them back to their common rooms after hours, pretending he did not just see that skirt rolled up to show a lil more thigh, keeping his eyes straight ahead when he walked through the best snogging spots ‘round the school.

ELEVATOR PITCH: Dreamy Lovegood-Scamander child set off on a grand adventure to America to study magical beasts... and then became one. Now he’s trying to navigate his early 20s as a werewolf.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Heee has worked independently as a writer/cryptozoologist, but recently-ish got his own radio show on the Quibbler Network “Quibble Quabble” where he just talks about… anything and everything he wants in a stream-of-consciousness format. Sometimes it’s about animals, sometimes it’s about his experience as a werewolf, sometimes it’s about how the dough didn’t rise in his bread oh and also did you know that yeast is alive?
NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: Lysander Scamander is his twin brother! ?Marion Bell-Wood used to babysit him when he was sevenish-eightish.? Might’ve had a kissin’-friends sorta thing for a little bit with Scorpius their sixth year, I gotta follow up w/Meggie about this. (I just copy-pasted my old app over lmfao)
WANTED LINES:

Frieeennnndssss!!!! If anyone’s nice to him, he’s nice back. He gets along great with those puppy-esque types who think everyone’s their friend, because he’s extremely receptive to it without question.

Other owners of small pets to have hangouts with his pygmy puff. :( He’s getting Pickles on move in day and is going to go hog wild building what’s essentially a giant, sprawling dollhouse McMansion for him. It’d be cute if they threw “parties” at the McMansion.

If anyone wants him as a bad kiss-friend during his 6th or 7th year of Hogwarts, he’s available for that as long as they’re not more than a year above or below him. For him, it was more of an experimental thing to see what it’s like and nothing was really serious about it. If it did turn into a “relationship” then it didn’t last for more than a month or two.

CHARACTER NAME: Marion Birdie Bell-Wood
AGE: 25.
HOUSE/YEAR/SPECIAL ROLES: Ravenclaw + 2012–2019. Prefect. Quidditch team (Chaser).

WHAT'S SOME COMMON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM?:

• PERSONALITY. Marion's ride-or-die with a chosen few and has a reputation for involving herself in tiffs on behalf of those who didn't ask; unless she straight-up started it. She's flighty in her interests, both professionally and romantically. She's competitive. I'm still trying to find... some... positive aspects of her personality, tbh.
• HOGWARTS. She worked hard and played harder, both on the pitch and at parties. Never slowed down. Was a ✨ rising quid star. ✨ Kissed around, a lot. As a prefect, was especially protective of the younger students and often took their sides.
• QUID PRO (QUO). Recruited onto Puddlemere United.
• 2022, GOT WREKT. Took a bludger to the head at just the worst angle. And then fell off her broom. It was scary, messy, public, and soon revealed to have caused a brain bleed; she was removed from the roster for the rest of the season and spent two months recovering in hospital, where she didn't want to see many friends. She didn't return to Puddlemere for the next season and more or less disappeared from the public eye until the new year.
• 2023, RADIO SILENT. Is given a more-or-less clean bill of health. Shortly thereafter, a leaked report states that she's no longer cleared to play professionally. She bails on her family, most friends, and possibly the UK at large. Sends occasional owls sent to assure she is alive and well. Comes back for check-ins at St Mungo's but that's about it.
• 2024, RE-EMERGED. Back, worked a lot of jobs, tried poorly to rebuild relationships.

ELEVATOR PITCH: Yesterday she was the rookie chaser to watch — now she's the oldest rookie healer who's trying to get back on her feet. She fell apart when she was told she couldn't play anymore and lost the reassembly manual years ago, and now that she's trying to find equilibrium she's also trying to (re?)build relationships that are more likely to last. She doesn't know how, though. And she's a total dumbass. So.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:

• NOW. St Mungo's, in her first year of healer training. On the side, works in her grandparents' pub in Glasgow to earn some extra cash and because she likes it there.
• 2024–EARLY 2026. Literally everywhere, working a new job every few months. Hired, tried hard to do well (and often did a pretty good job of it), and then dropped it after only a few weeks in favour of something else. Definitely worked at Meat Sweats, the Ministry, and the owl post, each for a hot minute. She's been an apprentice wandmaker and an apprentice potioneer, a daycare staffer, and god knows what else. (See Wanted Lines for more!) The only place she didn't work was in the quid world.
• 2019–2022. Chaser for Puddlemere United.

NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS:

WANTED LINES:

• RIDE OR DIE. Marion won't just go to bat for her closest friends — she'll also fill the bat with nails, set it on fire, and swing it wildly in the night at the mere SUGGESTION of danger. There's probably a couple of people she feels like this about.
• EXES. Marion has never dated anyone for more than three months; she breaks it off pretty quick at that point, citing disinterest. And that's kind of true. Often it's messy. & She's only dated women since like fourth year, so no boys allowed. The number potential is tbh infinite.
• RIVAL?. Could be FUN or MEAN. She doesn't like: nepotism, people who have been mean to her people, people who have slighted her, people who looked at her wrong. I like a slow burn to them hopefully maybe one day understanding each other kinda plot but I also don't want to rush it~
• EX-COWORKERS. If there's an entry-level role she thought she could burn through, she did. Lay it on me.
• FRIENDS. Just like... friends lines. frens.
• A REMINDER OF HUMANITY. ok so uh the more I write her, the meaner she gets. I need... her... to have some kind of redeeming quality? And maybe part of that can be as a result of her connection with... somebody? Do I fully know what I'm asking for here? OF COURSE NOT! Am I vomiting these words out anyways?

NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: He is a Weasley so there are a lot of built in connections, but I'd love to flush out his individual relationships with each.

WHAT'S SOME COMMON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM?:

• Oldest of Goyle's five daughters. No male heirs, which is probably fine because we don't need to carry on the Goyle name.
  
• Slightly less well known but not exactly difficult to find knowledge: Her American pureblood mother was arrested when she was ten for crimes in the States, which didn't really help their effort to rebuild the Goyle brand.
  
• She wasn't necessarily super strict as a prefect, but when she was given a list of rules she went "ok if I see someone break these I punch them until they stop, got it." Not a lot of nuance. Apologies to all (from me, not from her).

ELEVATOR PITCH: Big sister bully solves everyone's problems with the blunt instrument that is her brain.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Currently works a commission-based job procuring potions ingredients/reagents/etc. for high-end, boutique apothecaries. They advertise that they're here to find rare or inconvenient ingredients, but for the most part she finds herself on a fetch quest for the grossest shit possible. Also the company is called Uncle Throckmorton's Mandrakes, Murtlaps, Moly & More!
Before Uncle Throckmorton, she kind of bounced around doing odd jobs here or there. She's not too bright, but she works hard, so probably at least a handful of menial shit jobs.
NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: Still need to flesh things out, but! I know there's some other Hufflepuffs-of-Slytherin-lineage in her year, and I think Briar Longbottom is her former co-prefect.
WANTED LINES:

• Sisters! Gilly has four younger sisters. I put the youngest as still being in school, but all the ages are flexible if anyone wants to play my terrible little sister. I! Love! Shitty! Siblings!!!
  
• I put that she once ate 13 raw eggs on a dare so if you want to be the person who dared her that's wide open.
  
• Mmmmore Hufflepuffs? I just want more Hufflepuffs in general, not even necessarily for Gilly.

WHAT'S SOME COMMON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM?: She spent her Hogwarts days mean girling, but has mellowed out in a non-high-school social ecosystem. She has a bad habit of being really nice to people she was a bully to at school, as if she does not remember bullying them. Peri is also well known for, probably, having broken down in tears during the 3 weeks she worked at the same place as you do.
ELEVATOR PITCH: The extremely spoiled daughter of Parvati and Lavender, since childhood she has been taught to loudly feel her feelings and expect the world to revolve around her.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Peridot is a chronic part-timer, frequently underemployed, and has been fired from 90% of the retail stores on Diagon already.
NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: Noel Finnegan-Thomas is her pseudo-cousin, Lavender is a werewolf so I guess she might have some ties to Lorcan too, and all non-Ali characters are blessed to be free of her presence.
WANTED LINES:
🔮 Coworkers and former Coworkers. Peri's at her moms' tea shop, Seamus's demolition company, and Meat Sweats right now. She also thrifts and resells designer clothing and busks.
🔮 Other aspirants to FAME. Peri wants to be a famous musician, but she'd settle for being a famous actor.
🔮 She reads tarot at Amor Fati, so if you want to be a regular customer she is giving you VERY good advice, certainly
🔮 Other mean girl types (or victims) even if the overlap was brief at school. She deff hassled older and younger students both.

🔮 As a side note I have her as an only child atm and I'm not really jonesing for a sibling for her, but if Parvati/Lavender kid really speaks to anyone else I'm open to it!!

WHAT'S SOME COMMON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM?: Rose was popular during school because she threw big parties in the Room of Requirement that slapped. She loves a good theme party. Rose was a little bit of a steamroller when she was prefect, demanding weird rules be upheld to a T (she lost her mind if the common room was left untidy) but completely ignoring other ones, especially if she liked you.

In her adult life, Rose has been shooting through the ranks at the Ministry, moving from the Obliviation office to the Department of Mysteries, where she's now an Unspeakable studying conscious thought and memories. She recently suffered a work accident that left her pretty badly scarred, and which she refuses to talk about.

Also, she just got divorced from her Hogwarts sweetheart. They were a power couple from their 5th year until a few months ago when they abruptly and quietly split. Rose is not dealing with being single well and is kind of a mess atm.

ELEVATOR PITCH: Rose has never felt like she was good enough for her extremely talented and accomplished mother, and though she's done a LOT of hard work to try to meet those expectations, she's also started resorting to less ethical methods as well - for example, when she was in the Obliviator office, she frequently obliviated her bosses to make them forget her dumb work mistakes. She faced pretty serious personal consequences when she got caught for this, and is trying to live on her own merit now, but is struggling.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Obliviator office 2024-2026, DoM 2026-present.
NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: A Weasley, obviously. She generally loves all her family members, but is particular close with Albus. She is also begrudgingly friends with Scorpius Malfoy, although they also sort of hate each other because they're very similar and use it as a proxy for hating themselves.

WANTED LINES:
🌹 EX-IN LAW(S) - I don't want her husband in-game bc it's a little too much baggage for me, but if anyone would like him to be their character's sibling/cousin, I am very up for that. Rose had a really good relationship with her husband's family, but they didn't get many details on why the break-up happened. Would love this to be a previous close friendship turned into ???tentative resentment???, ???confusion and betrayal???. Her ex-husband has to be a 2017-2024 Gryffindor and an NPC, but besides that I'm very flexible!

🌹 PARTY FRIENDS! - Were you in school during the approx. years 2020-2024? Rose was throwing these ill-advised ragers, and you were invited. If you were seriously unfun or ever tried to narc on her, you were uninvited.

🌹 ILL-ADVISED FLIRTATIONS - Rose is single for the first time in basically her entire life, and she is doing a bad job of dating. If you want to be an unfortunate target of her weird concept of flirting, I wish you luck.

🌹 ACADEMIC RIVAL - She was a competitive shithead in school and loved bragging about her good grades, so someone she could compete with would be top aces.

WHAT'S SOME COMMON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM?:

• Uses she/they pronouns, and I'm putting this up top bc while I wrote the app and will probably use they pronouns IC, I don't want anyone to feel bad if they flub it lmao.
  
• Only child of Lee Jordan and Alicia Spinnet, which was an incredibly ill-advised pairing that did not work out long. Both Lee and Alicia floated around through other relationships during Chase's childhood and Chase just sort of went with the flow.
  
• If you have a cause that needs to be signal boosted, Chase will pimp it on their show!! No guarantees it'll help but they love to offer.
  
• It was hard to keep everyone's names straight while Quidditch commentating so a lot of you former Quid players during their time got nicknames. Probably dumb nicknames. I don't have any examples but if you want a bad nickname for your Quidditch player I bet I can come up with one that makes you wish you hadn't asked.
  
• Recently got back from an impromptu three-month camping trip and then learned their flat was rented out to someone else in the meantime. Rude. Their coworkers probably know this at least, seeing as they had to cover their shifts until they just randomly showed back up again.

ELEVATOR PITCH: Impulsive wanderer talks too much on the air and doesn't know where they're supposed to wind up, but they're enjoying the journey.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: There's DEF been a couple wizfast food places and barista jobs and all the hallmarks of the Shit Job phase. Currently you can catch them on the Quibbler Network, probably disgustingly late at night, or serving at Meat Sweats, the worst restaurant in Wizarding London. They're a very bad server, but they're friendly!!!
NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS:

• Same house/year as Noel F-T so unfort you're friends.
  
• Coworkers with Lorcan Scamander at the Quibbler Network, and then with several people (Olive, Aster, Peri, I feel like I'm missing some people) at Meat Sweats.
  
• Here to bother anyone with the name Weasley, as is their birthright. I haven't discussed this with any of you Weasley players, it's just happening.

WANTED LINES:

Their parents ran through a lot of relationships, so I'd be down for any former almost-stepsiblings or something like that!!! Currently both Lee and Alicia wound up dating the same woman and now they're happily throupled, you could even play her child if you really wanted!!!

Friends??? FRIENDS!!! Old friends, new friends, family friends!!!

CHARACTER NAME: Valerius Nott
AGE: 29
HOUSE/YEAR/SPECIAL ROLES: Ravenclaw 2010-2017. Ravenclaw chaser 2013-2015, keeper 2015-2017. Ravenclaw quid captain 2016-2017.
WHAT'S SOME COMMON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM?: Sarcastic, judgmental, holier-than-thou pureblood kid with a chip on his shoulder. Pro quid player with a pretty successful career, although he's pushing on in years. Absolutely sucks to interact with him if you're not friends with him, but he can be a very loyal and dedicated friend/brother when he wants to be. Which is only sometimes, unfortunately.

ELEVATOR PITCH: Raised by negligent teenage parents in a neglected countryside pureblood manor, he was the approximation of a wizarding latchkey kid. Eventually he got dumped with Pansy, and he does pretty well with his little found family, but he's still got attachment issues and it shows.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Puddlemere United 2017-2019, Ballycastle Bats 2019-2020, Falmouth Falcons 2020-present. Mostly played reserve or keeper, but he's been a starting chaser for a season or two as well. Gunning for that captain position, but also reaching the end of his pro quid shelf life.

NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: Aster Parkinson & Odile Zabini are his adoptive sisters and he would kill a man for either of them. Teddy Lupin and Victoire Weasley are both school-year exes for him and he's just delighted that they're all living in the same building now :).

WANTED LINES:
🌠 YOUNGER BIO SIBLING - Val's parents passed him off to Pansy when he was like 5 and then just didn't come back to get him, so I'd love a younger sibling for him that's like a recent grad (~9 years younger than him) who the Notts raised themselves and did a slightly better job at raising. He considers Pansy/Aster/Odile his family in every way that matters, but he has some personal loyalty and I think would be interested in getting to know a younger sibling better as adults. I think Kaya Scodelario would be a good pb choice for a sister, they both have that "haven't taken my eyeliner off in a week" vibe. But I'm not fussed by gender/house/etc. So if anyone wants a younger pureblood do consider!

🌠 QUIDDITCH - Either overlap on the Ravenclaw team, or other pro quid kids! Val is a good fit on the Falcons because his play style is generally "aggressive asshole", esp when he's playing chaser, which is why he gets relegated to keeper so often. So if they were on a different house team while he played they might have caught an elbow to the face. I like to imagine he was tight with the other Ravenclaw quid kids tho!

🌠 EXES - He's a messy bisexual and he's dated a lot of people, so if you want to be exes he is available for that.

🌠 OTHER PUREBLOODS - Esp. kids of former Death Eaters/baddies. Interested in exploring the fallout of growing up as the child of the Villains. He's definitely Over It(tm) when it comes to pureblood ideologies, but he's not the most outspoken progressive about it either.

CHARACTER NAME: Scorpius Malfoy
AGE: 21
HOUSE/YEAR/SPECIAL ROLES: Slytherin 2017-2024, loser
WHAT'S SOME COMMON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM?: Scorpius was not super popular at school, between his family's reputation and his own unpleasantness. He got picked on a bit, and never knew when to let something go, therefore getting into a lot of fights he was destined to lose. Scorpius has been Albus' shy, grumpy shadow since they were tweens. They're besties. Scorpius was tolerated at the fun cool Room of Requirement parties, mostly because he was a) Albus' friend, and b) uncannily good at summoning the Room of Req.

He's always been an incredibly talented artist, though, and has aspirations to be a professional painter. He specializes in living portraits and classic oil painting, landscapes and still life and the sort. He had a gallery show last year, maybe your character went!

Scorpius isn't known for being very friendly, and Draco and Astoria basically broke ties with all their old school friends. He grew up pretty sheltered and can be rather naïve.
ELEVATOR PITCH: Draco's only child who's stuck carrying the heavy weight of his family's reputation as traitors and war criminals who seemingly got away with it all. He aspires to greatness as an artist, and won't settle for anything less.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Right out of school, Scorpius tried and quickly quit a few entry level jobs. One at the ministry, one at his parents' apothecary, maybe a couple others at places relevant to other characters. Now he's a full time struggling artist who sometimes gets commissions or sells a painting or two at a gallery.
NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: Scorpius is best friends with Albus Potter, frienemies with Rose Weasley, and childhood friends with the Scamanders because he was babysat alongside them by Marion. He was kissin' friends with Lorcan in 6th year which he absolutely bungled by getting the twins mixed up.
WANTED LINES:
🎨Friends?? Scorpius isn't an easy person, but he's a dedicated, enabling friend with a soft heart.
🎨Enemies??? He's easy to dislike I promise.
🎨Exes? Scorpius attempted to "date" during school (girls in public, guys in "private" -- but it was a well known secret), but was a terrible, rude boyfriend. If you want a bad match, he's your guy. He's matured a little since then.

She went places she was specifically told not to, and one time got lost in the Forbidden Forest for two nights (it was not actually as exciting as she was hoping it'd be). She fed wild animals when she was told not to, and sometimes brought them into the castle. Ollie inherited her dad's forgetfulness and was really bad at remembering when homework was due or what test was when. She leaned on her twin brother, Briar, to remember all of that. It's probably thanks to Briar that she's lived this long.

Ollie is a dirtbag kind of girl who can't hold down a job and doesn't have any real ambition besides finding the next fun thing. She's laid back and mellow, but also a stealth steamroller. When she comes up with a bad idea, her attitude is a faux-resigned "well now we've gotta do it, no choice, can't back down now". She comes off as wise beyond her years but it's probably just the way she talks that makes people think that. Dangerously optimistic.

Olive feeds the "local wildlife" in the alleyways behind Henhurst and the restaurant where she bartends, resulting in a higher than average population of rats, pigeons and raccoons.
ELEVATOR PITCH: Olive decided there was no point in trying to live up to her parents' heroic reputation, so she just stopped trying in general. Optimistic, chill, and chronically unambitious bartender who always accidentally mixes her drinks too strong.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Olive's gotten fired from many entry level jobs, but found her home at Meat Sweats, the worst restaurant in Wizarding London. She's the bartender and manager, and god, she's... really bad at it.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: I think she was just hustlin' around Cardiff until receiving her summons from Forsythe but will begin working at Meat Sweats as a part-time prep cook once she moves into Henhurst. If you're looking for an unreliable employee, I'm open to her having other part-time jobs. Otherwise she supplements her income through small time fencing (not the sword sport), selling 'controlled' potions, sports betting, and general grifting.

Lysander was raised by wolves, some say. They may not be wrong. He was a pretty feral child, allowed to do whatever he wanted, which both shows and it's pretty obvious he squandered by just becoming a complete nerd, anyway. He has the living habits of a young bachelor and an old man combined, somehow, and cannot feed himself but does stick to a bedtime of 10pm. Gotta get up at 5am to watch those birds. He's probably snuck a lil birdfeeder onto his window, if he has a window.

In school, Lysander was definitely not a teacher's pet or authority figure or anything of the sort in school or out of it. In fact, he got in trouble quite a lot for little stuff like skipping class when he didn't think he needed to attend. Most people would know about the Ministry Incident, and most would not find it surprising. Lysander's quite prickly at first meet, but it hides a maaajor caring streak that isn't buried very far down. Upon becoming an Adult, he sort of wanted to break away from his family's magizoologist lifestyle/path. But that didn't...entirely work out, especially after Lorcan's transformation, which he took a lot to heart.

ELEVATOR PITCH: The bookish, nerdy, socially hopeless Scamander on a mission to save the creatures his family loves through the law he loves learning.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: He immediately upon graduation vaulted into a pretty high-level for entry position at the Ministry of Magic- Department for the Control of Magical Creatures. He wanted to sort of get in there from the inside, and create real change. This ended abruptly when he realized he couldn't, and he quit without much warning or grace. (Read: he did a minor property destruction and now he isn't allowed in there without an escort oopsies.)

And that's ok! It's whatever! Because now he apprentices at Burnes Stabbes and Boyles, which is a private environmental wizard law firm specializing in protective legislation for magical creatures and he's gonna be a lawyer. This is his first year but he's actually putting in some work.
NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: Lorcan Scamander is his twin brother! Marion Bell-Wood was his babysitter as a child and he would kill for her. He probably knows the Weasley-Potter-Etc gang and has had to form Opinions on them all.

No idea who dad is and what's more no one cares. Aster grew up wanting to erase the sins of the fathers singlehandedly, which led her to be sort of a scary camp-counselor type in school. Lots of wanting to be people's friends, and lots of prefect Mandatory Activities in Gryffindor during her reign of terror. For at least her fifth and sixth year. By her seventh year she'd already burned out, since that persona's not exactly Who She IS. Aster's now a more resigned, cynical, but perhaps now genuinely more agreeable personality. She was never focused on booksmarts; acting was her True Love, but she's sharp interpersonally. She seems the type who should have her life a lot more together than she does; let's blame that Gryffindor impulsivity.
ELEVATOR PITCH: Upon finding she could not singlehandedly undo the harm purism has done, Pansy's kid threw herself into the gutter directly. And there lies, rest in peace.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
Currently she's a waitress at MEAT SWEATS Aka Meet Sweats Steakhouse And First Date Joint, the literal worst wizarding restaurant on Diagon Alley. She's been there for a whole year, which means she owns it, legally. (No it doesn't.)

She's also an aspiring stage actress and has an ongoing role at The Bard's Magic, a wizarding Shakespeare company that goes to different primary schools and villages to put on plays and educate wizarding folk on these neglected classics. She's looking for better work, but at least it's acting. Right now, they're doing Much Ado About Nothing and she's Hero, and Midsummer where she's Mustardseed for the kids so she's doing pretty well thanks for asking.

In the past, she's very likely had other small roles and jobs, to be filled in with the worst places I can imagine, of course.

It was suggested a few times that she might not have been Harry Potter’s child at all, considering she’s bad at magic and favors her mother anyway. She hates it. Thanks.
ELEVATOR PITCH: Lily is a loud, emotional, mess of a Gryffindor. She’s creative, she’s an illustrator for children’s books, she loves doing little drawings and doodles. She doesn’t play quidditch, or do anything her parents are known for which often paints her as the black sheep despite her cheerful demeanor.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: She is on an entry level of a disney-esque illustrating studio. She did do cheap caricatures and face painting in the park to make money of the summers between school.

Being the Slytherin Potter wasn't easy at first, but by the end he'd established himself as the Hogwarts golden boy of his time. Try writing a nasty article in the paper about him now. He was a friendly, extroverted guy who wanted everyone in school to like him but also his luck and privilege makes him extremely hateable, so I'm sure there are varied feelings about him.

As a prefect/head boy, his policy was "if you don't want to get in trouble, don't get caught." He was too much of a party-boy Slytherin to be a real hardass about good behaviour, but he saw it as fair game to bust people who were stupid about breaking the rules. Teachers loved him!!!

Albus left England shortly after graduation and travelled the world for ~2 years. This was a very sudden move on his part; he did not tell any friends or family about this before he left. He's recently returned home and moved into Henhurst to room with his bestie, Scorpius.

ELEVATOR PITCH: Harry Potter's favourite child, the Boy who Had Everything and Could Do Anything, abandoned his life for no reason* a few years ago. Now he's back and issssss still trying to avoid dealing with the fallout. *the reason is ✨Anxiety✨
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Albus was about to enter Auror training when he abruptly ran away from the country, and spent the years since basically backpacking around the world, using the Potter name to get dinner invitations with famous wizards, and blowing through all the money his parents had set aside for him. Upon returning to England, Albus did receive a few lucrative job offers, but he blew them off in favour of working as an extremely unglamorous assistant librarian at a magical research institute.
NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: He's the middle child. His best friend since first year is Scorpius Malfoy. He has 2938093243 cousins whom he all loves very dearly, and has been very bad at keeping up with, and I imagine he's also friendly with children-of-Harry/Ginny's-friends.

• Is a metamorphagus. I think if you don't know him it's probably easy to think he has no control over this because he's constantly transforming. Teddy also genderbends a lot and presents as female when it suits his mood.
  
• His parents died in the war and he has some affiliation with the Potter-Weasley clan, though he isn't really One of Them.
  
• He likes stars. He works at some sort of Institute.
  
• He's constantly breaking up and getting back together with Victoire Delacour-Weasley. Yes, sometimes in public. They occasionally go dormant for a long enough time that everyone thinks it's really over, but then they come roaring back again.
  
• Despite Victoire, he's a flirt and has left behind a string of experimental conquests.
  
• He's written some very bad short stories that he's EXTREMELY proud of and at least one has been published for public consumption.

WHAT'S SOME COMMON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM?: This one is still baking. The fact that his grandfather, Elliot Avery, is in Azkaban is common knowledge and it's also common knowledge that Viv doesn't like to talk about it. He was a sarcastic, prickly prefect that acted put out by having to do the job but nonetheless attended all bonding activities and insisted everyone else did too.

Semi-common knowledge: His parents are in a loveless purebloody set-up marriage which almost immediately crumbled and they jet-set all over for work, as to never have to see each other. Viv resents them a lot, so he came to live with his grandmother, Lottie Burke-Avery, while he attended Hogwarts. There is a lot of weirdness there, too. She's crazy.

After school, he moved in with a boyfriend?/girlfriend? and that relationship failing puts him in a pinch and is what eventually triggers him to move into Henhurst.

ELEVATOR PITCH: Pretentious, bookish blue blooded child of privilege and consequence. Obsessed with grand love stories and looking to find his own.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Viv works for a small but prestigious publishing company. It's his job to go through the slush pile of queries and manuscripts to find up and coming authors.
