i threw a few lines into her app to describe the relationship:

"...Dominique's Boyfriend: both a revelation and a phase. So yeah, it turned out she wasn't exactly into blokes, but this person cheered her on and made her feel important, and she tried to do the same for him even if they weren't actually compatible. It did take her quite some time to figure this out, though -- they were nearly at the end of Seventh Year before Dominique could admit she was gay."

do u think that would still work :|a i could change the wording a bit since he's a touch Older if so

yeah!! they could've maybe started dating her fifth year/his sixth year or that summer after he graduated?? (depending on how long term you wanted it to be)

he could've been ✨ waiting for her ✨ after he graduated, while she was still in seventh year. meetin up at hogsmeade on the weekends, havin a wee smooch, gettin some dinner that he was v excited to pay for with his ADULT MONEY. very Romantic and Idyllic.

i imagined it as something a lil bit longer :|a maybe we can say the end of fifth year/sixth year so its not FOREVER but still Notable for a highschool kinda relationship

that works!! almost a year and noel was certain they were gonna get their Golden Trio Era-esque ending where they were neatly paired w/their hogwarts sweetheart and lived happily ever after.

he was VERY nice about it, at least. but also i feel like it was a lil bit of an Elle Woods scenario when warner sits her down at a nice restaurant and she's FOR SURE he's going to propose only for it to be a Break Up Dinner instead

i think some of dom's family were p certain of this fact as well & dom probably gets a lil teary sometimes wishing that it were true. .-. not that they were like DISAPPOINTED in her, but. yknow
