yes i love it. She's also going to be a little like... unnecessarily protective of him. Like she knows that he's mostly an adult but he's the odd one out here since he didn't go to Hogwarts/already know everyone before moving in so she's still gonna be like "IF ANYONE IS MEAN TO MY LITTLE BROTHER I WILL KILL YOU"

Here's the truth: Hugo doesn't mind it one bit. Yeah, sometimes he might be like, "Thanks Rose, but I got it." But more often, he's like, "Hey mister, watch what you say to me. Wouldn't want my sister to get involved in this, would we?"

Do you think Hugo knows about Rose's obliviating drama/history? No pressure either way!

I do think she would have told him (and fwiw I think their dad probably knows too? I did make it sound like Hermione kept it between the two of them but I can actually perfectly picture the awkward family dinner convo they had about it lmao)
