WHAT'S SOME COMMON KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM?: Loves animals and wants to become an animal healer. Plays soccer, not Quidditch. Clumsy as heck.
ELEVATOR PITCH: He is an awkward and sweet Hufflepuff who is studying to become an animal healer.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Apprentice/clerk at a local animal clinic.
NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: He is a Weasley so there are a lot of built in connections, but I'd love to flush out his individual relationships with each.

hi julia!!!! v excited to have you here!! louis seems super cute so far 🥺

my most obvious one is lorcan. his grandpa still lives in ottery st. catchpole near the burrow and the twins would've spent a lot of time around the weasley-potter clan growing up. if he had ever wanted some sort of summer apprenticeship (or whatever!) to learn more about animals, he could've worked alongside either luna & rolf or spent time with newt taking care of rescued animals. (i don't imagine his animal collection is as big as it was in his youth, but i'm sure he's still looking after smaller ones even though he's well over 100 years old by now.)

i'm also working on noel finnigan-thomas (

noelnoel) who might also know him, even if he's older? (he's 24 and a '21 grad.) i imagine dean and seamus still keep in touch with harry and ron, and at some point noel & his dads have been included in some weasley-potter clan cookouts.

noel also loves animals a whole lot!! but more in the sense of "LOOK AT THIS COOL FROG I FOUND!!!!" than like... any real animal caretaking. he WILL pick up injured bugs or animals he finds and try to take care of them, which probably means taking them to louis.

Oh, I love that idea about the apprenticeship! Mind if I work it into my app? I see Louis looking up to Lorcan since he is so cool (Louis' words) and is into animals too. Maybe a little bit of hero worship when he was younger since Lorcan is a little older?

Noel! Louis says "yes, please" to cookouts and is totally willing to help innocent injured animals Noel finds.

yesss, absolutely!! if it was this past summer, lorcan also would've been around newt's place living in his suitcase. (he still could've popped by at any time to check in on louis regardless of which parental figure louis had an apprenticeship with but he lived at newt's place starting in late spring after he became a werewolf.)

but, yeah, hero worship is cute!!

oh! update! noel is now the ex-boyfriend of dom!

hi julia!!! albus and louis are cousins, and i imagine albus would know louis a little better too since they're only two years apart and spent a lot of years in hogwarts together. i don't know if they had a lot of shared interests, but i feel like albus would've always been down for playing a game of soccer (or i guess football, as the brits say lol) with louis?

also a cousin who's slightly older and was a prefect/head boy, he would've tried to look out for louis too if that mattered c:

so there isn't a direct line between marion and louis, HOWEVER! she's spent a lot of time at the scamanders' house because their dad and her dad are 🤞 tight bros, so if you'd like, she and louis could have met during his apprenticeship over the summer! he's a Baby in her eyes, and she tends to get pretty protective of the younger ones around, so that could def extend to him.

Yaaay! Hi Julia! I'm Colleen and this is Siân.

I'm happy to have more young characters around. Siân is one year above and in Slytherin. Hogwarts is a small enough school that they would certainly know each other.

Siân probably affectionally razzes him. Tries to bully him into mischief and stuff like that.

Hi Julia! Hugo and Louis are cousins and similar aged and I'm sure they hung out all the time. Hugo's very down with soccer and probably is always trying to get Louis to be less sweet (I'm sorry). *lowers voice* "You don't gotta be so nice, y'know?"

teddy is..... uh
definitely someone who's been a Character in the drama of the delacour-weasley house for years now. he isn't a bad person, but he and victoire are a lil turbulent at times.

i'm playing dom as absolutely hating him and avoiding him at all costs so i don't have to overlap with myself, so -- it's up to you if you think that's a vibe that persists throughout the family, or if louis and teddy have a different vibe. fwiw teddy's always tried to be very chill toward him and may have tried to use his owl to bond with louis when he and victoire were in a good place lmao

Drama! Louis feels caught between loyalties so he might no go out of his way to befriend Teddy during those times, but he is not going to be outright mean either.

He is such a darling cinnamon roll. I'm sorry in advance, James is nowhere near as nice as he is... but he will still play football with him at family gatherings.

i think that vic has strong delacour genes, in contrast to louis being a bit of a baby bill. she's much older than louis and a real tour-de-force; not sure how poor louis felt growing up with that energy in the house, lol. but ultimately, i can say that she would have absolutely adored and doted on him, esp since he was a little bit of a Delicate Child. idk if louis knows this, but fsure vic thinks of herself as always being in his corner if he needs it

I think Louis had to get used to strong forces in the Weasley clan, but he sometimes does need a moment to himself. He'll go off on his own to clear his head when it gets too much.

I get the vibe Louis and Lucy are close and they got to Hufflepuff it together and she was only a year ahead. They can be the good sweet awkward Weasleys together.
