1ST APRIL ⋅ THURSDAY

👀🎉 Residents wake up to find their room isn't where it used to be. In fact, it's not even on the same floor anymore.

2ND APRIL ⋅ FRIDAY

By morning, everyone's room has returned back to their original locations. [VOLUNTEER A] makes the mistake of trying to open the door where their room had moved to yesterday.

🌟 Teddy's birthday party at Folie.

👀🎉 Easter Sunday. The Most Holiest Egg Hunt is today after Father Peck's Sunday service!

🎂 Happy birthday, Teddy Lupin!

Father Peck is leading a Sunday service on Floor 3 ⛪ Our Lady of Perpetual Clucks. Thanks to Aster Parkinson's discretion, news of the miraculous weeping Chicken Jesus statue has traveled far and wide… or, at least, has become a local legend among Diagon Alley residents. Quite a few locals have come to view the statue themselves and pay their respects.

If there was ever anything special about Hugo Weasley's parentage, it's quickly forgotten when one of the managers of Bro The L asks them to take a picture… of him and the weeping statue! Thanks, bro!

5TH APRIL ⋅ MONDAY

6TH APRIL ⋅ TUESDAY

Good news: it seems that HOA dues on Floor 8 🏡 Americana have been settled because the lawns are back to green, and the pool and hot tub are back to not-green.

Bad news: They'll need to carry an umbrella from their apartment to the elevator because it's "thunderstorming" from the sprinkler system for the next two days. Every once in a while, they hear a tinny crackling of thunder from overhead speakers that sounds similar to the sound effect played before grocery store produce is misted.

Zsofika Nagy spies Morty through the window of Amor Fati & Herb, looking very focused as he studies their selection of flowers and succulents. He walks out with an echeveria in a cute little frog pot, looking very pleased with himself. Whenever Zsofika Nagy next happens by Willhoughby's office, they notice the same succulent left on his desk.

👀 A little shindig is held to celebrate the official opening of the Rooftop Garden for the season, and the event includes the unveiling of a new water feature! Well, kind of. Maybe do a little soul-searching to prepare.

Zsofika Nagy wakes up to a pot full of soil… but no Bouncing Bulb. It's the size of a quaffle and a bright magenta hue — that should be harder to lose, right? So why can't they find it? ([VOLUNTEER D] might know why: they woke up this morning to a Bulb jumping on their bed before it whacked them in the face and bounced out their open window. Willoughby Sprout assures [VOLUNTEER D] that local Hitwizards have put out an APB, although it's hard to tell if that's a joke or not.)

Willoughby can be seen chasing the bulb—now the size of a crup—down the hallway of Floor 4.5 🦂 The Cave.

So the actual contents and decor of their room won't change, right? It looks the same inside, it's not until they leave that they realize things are wonky?

right! i'm finishing writing up the ic/ooc rn (LAST MINUTE OOPS) but here's a preview of the How It Works section:

⬥ Rooms were swapped around ~4 AM this morning. Nobody heard or felt anything odd when it happened.
⬥ Aside from floor-specific magic changing to match their new floor, the inside of everyone's apartment remains the same. Only the location has changed.
⬥ Floor-specific magic is now in place for the new residents of its floor. For example, rooms that have been moved to the 8th floor will now have Live Laugh Love style decals appear on their wall for today only and will fade when the apartment is moved back to its original position. The new guests of Grandma's Place on the 5th floor will find extra pillows in their bed. New passengers at the Train Station on the 1st floor are serenaded by the rumbling of a train overhead at 3PM and 3AM, while former passengers (now on different floors) will finally get a day of peace.
⬥ Rooms swap back to their original places around ~4AM on the morning of April 2nd.
