Hiiii I see we have a couple people here who I either haven't played with before or haven't really had a chance to play with extensively before so I thought I'd do a lil icebreaker thing here on the OOC.

I'm JJ! I'm a screenwriter living in LA (currently paying my bills by running DND campaigns for school-age children, which is pretty much the best day job I could ask for). I am living with my parents until the pandemic is safely over (which may be never, because my city is bad at quarantining) and I do oftentimes complain about that, but I will try to keep it to a minimum. My hobbies currently include a LOT of tabletop gaming (I just got into Magic: The Gathering at the start of quarantine and it's been dominating my life) as well as virtual reality/new media stuff, which was my previous career path. I have also gotten really into making my own ice cream since quarantine started which is great in combination with the fact that I rarely get exercise anymore! I have a cat named Marceline who is, unfortunately, gorgeous and does, unfortunately, know it.

HELLO HELLO WELCOME NEW FACES!!!!

I'm Alex! I live in Portland with my husband and two dumb dogs, Ziggy and Sarge. Ziggy is beautiful and an asshole, and Sarge is a perfect angel with an empty head. I work a boring desk job that has been... slow... for the last nine months lmao so I'm trying to start reading more when it's super slow. I'm on my fifth book of the year so far!! (Also would full recommend the last book I finished, The Memory Police, if the description seems like your jam.) Uhh I also keep losing entire weekends playing the Sims even though my clunky old laptop hates how many of the packs I have but you know yolo etc.

Oh and I have a 681 day streak on Duolingo, I am invincible.

Are we okay saying there’s an Auror Secret Service in this game? And per Hermoine’s orders, an ASS member has been assigned to accompany Hugo when he goes into the muggle world? Portkey’d with him to and from school in London every day. Now rides the Tube with him to the orthodontists office.

So Hugo and Molly had the bad idea to try and open the elevator shaft and rescue Maya, Peri, and James.

so quick, it doesn't really deserve its own individual post.

since 2/3 mods are on hiatus right now, we've decided to delay the pcal by a week to give ourselves a breather while y'all play in the masquerade post. the next fortnightly calendar will start back up on sunday, 3/28 (a full moon!)

as always, if you have any plots you'd love to see, don't hesitate to shoot us an email or hit up the dropbox! or reply here! whatever!! we love to hear what you're thinkin!!

hello, i have very bad quarantine brain this month, but i would like to DO THINGS. any of my characters are available to do almost any thing. examples:

- i think i am actually going to write up some dumb gossip for briar to anonymously publish, so if you'd like anything gossiped about you can make a request. i think it's probably going to be like blind-item style in the theme of the masquerade

- peri could develop a devastating crush on your character and publicly embarrass herself trying to win their affections

- @ LYSS/ROXY CAN WE DO SOMETHING WITH COMPETITIVE DUELING idk which of my characters would be any good at dueling but it seems like a fun idiot activity
