CHARACTER NAME: Zsofika Nagy. Goes by Zso. The zs sound in is pronounced like the 's' in treasure, so this nickname sounds something like a mix between Zo and Jo.

Div kid! If you crossed paths with her at Hogwarts, she's probably read your palm or done a spread for you. She earnestly practices astrology and judges people on their star charts. Annoyingly intuitive.

Highly, HIGHLY superstitious. Wears a nazar charm necklace 24/7 and is constantly trying to ward off jealous malevolent attention.

Has a very loud and curated sense of style. Examples.

Bossy, meddling, dramatic and full of herself to the public eye. If you don't know her well, you might suspect she's a head cheerleader type. In reality, a massive wimp who hides behind her friends and has poor social skills.

Actually, quite nerdy. Loves to read and talk fantasy. Loves herbology and wee beasties. Stomps around in the mud in mini-skirts snatching up salamanders. LOVES FROGS AND TOADS.

ELEVATOR PITCH: 'Cool girl' who likes to think she is really something special but is actually just radiating huge virgin who can't drive vibes all over the place.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Putzed around in Devon after school and worked odd jobs, most notably a dairy maid and a personal stylist for awhile, but her passion has always been for chiromancy/palmistry. More friends! Zso is not necessarily nice but she is sociable.

Past romantic entanglements? I think she's only ever 'dated' boys before. Never anything serious. All through school, she nursed huge crushes and postured like she was a real hot ticket but ran away when things got past the lite snogging phase.

Other Div kids. She is trying to build a business here and needs to network.

People who don't like her. It's easy to not like her. She is annoying but I also promise that she makes a really fun nemesis.

Ebenezer doesn't like anyone and he isn't sure if he dislikes her MORE or LESS than the general public. But either way he definitely let her read his palm once and then argued with half of her conclusions.

PERI CAN BE FRIENDS WITH HER I think she is a little thorn in the side of every prof div kid but Peri's also friends with Griz and they overlapped plenty at Hogwarts (frog choir??)

as we have spoken about previously, dom had a giant secret crush on zso at hogwarts :( made more inconvenient by her relationship with noel, SADLY. there is absolutely some lingering awkwardness there. i think dom fully believes zso is actually the coolest person alive. how could she know otherwise, i ask u? how

teddy is divination adjacent in that he's obsessed with astronomy. sadly idk how much overlap they would've really had in hogwarts except that he was often arm-in-arm with victoire and probably hassled many a gryffindor that way throughout the years

This is Hugo. You know Hugo. Zso might not know him though?? But Hugo will make himself known to her. Sian might need to coach Hugo on how to talk to Zso.

I'm going to write a second character who went to school with her and is into div and they can have history.

Anywaaay, I assume Zso and Criswell didn't have much overlap at Hogwarts because of the age gap but he's very much prone to hover around the Div Kids and will put a lot of stock into what they've got to say. Since he couldn't predict his way out of a paper bag. So they might have reason to interact now! He's also very superstitious but otherwise their personalities sorta clash and I'm curious to see how THAT goes if we get to throw them at each other~
