MAX STUPID is the best kind of stupid, honestly. Amor Fati & Herb seems like the sort of place Cris would like and these two have a fair amount of overlap between div and music (trade some tarot readings for free guitar repairs??), so I could see them crossing paths/getting on decently~

Aaaand I think you're probably right about that. Even outside of the divination issue, I think Criswell probably just finds Val Intimidating on a few levels (seemingly cold, intelligent, judgmental Pureblood who plays a scary sport for a living! n o p e!), so he's not in a hurry to get in his space. Though I am, of course, down for making that happen anyway.
